In Japan, Shubun no Hi 春分の日 is a time to observe and appreciate the natural beauty of spring, to tidy what may have been neglected over the winter, to honor ancestors, and to visit the graves of loved ones. In Western cultures, too, spring is a time to celebrate new growth and life, to clean out the detritus left behind in the shadows, and to be grateful for having made it through the cold and the dark.
We invite you to join us for an evening and a meal to welcome the beginning of spring featuring new life, winter survivors, and beautiful natural phenomena: spring alliums, overwintered roots and sprouting vegetables, forced & glowing rhubarb, and tender lamb.
Due to the nature of this menu and dinner style, we politely decline substitutions. The menu is not suitable for vegetarians. Please let us know if you have an allergy.
