A taste of something different is in the air: we will break lavash together with flavors from Eastern Europe and Western Asia on Saturday, February 7, at The Wayland Mill. Join us for an evening with author Polina Chesnakova to celebrate her newest cookbook Chesnok, a beautiful collection of recipes and stories from Eastern Europe, The Caucasus, and Central Asia.
Saturday — February 7 — 5:30pm
Our kitchen and pastry teams are joining forces to make an absolute feast. All the dishes–Georgian khachapuri (cheese bread), Siberian pelmeni (dumplings), Azeri rice with dried fruit and chestnuts, and Prague Cake, to name a few–will be straight from the pages of Chesnok. Polina will join us to talk about the book and the inspiration behind it, and some of our friends from Book Larder will be there with books to sell and be signed. Come hungry–we look forward to sharing the magical flavors from Polina’s corner of the diaspora with you!
